With over 150 models across a dozen series, it can be overwhelming trying to navigate the RODgeeks blank lineup. Luckily, this task is a lot easier if you know how to read our model numbers. The first letters represent the series, followed by numbers that represent the length, then more letters that represent the power and action. Finally, a “2” at the end of a model number tells you that it is a two-piece blank (one-piece blanks have no number at the end). Here’s the breakdown in another format:
[Blank Series] [Feet] [Inches] [Power] [Action]
Let’s use the model number C270MF as an example. The “C2” means it’s a Carbon 2 Series blank, the “70” means it’s seven feet, zero inches long, the “M” means it’s a medium power, and the “F” means it’s a fast action.
Once you understand how RODgeeks model numbers work, it’s much easier to navigate our lineup. Even crazy looking models like SRF130XHMF2 can easily be decoded (Surf Rod Series, 13 feet long, extra-heavy power, moderate-fast action, two pieces). Try a few for yourself next time you’re poking around our blank shop!
